Brentwood Elementary School

Brentwood Elementary School serves 272 students in PreK-5, with a predominantly African American student body (92%) and high economic diversity (89% economically disadvantaged). Located at 3825 Brentwood Avenue in Lake Charles, the school is part of Calcasieu Parish's effort to provide comprehensive services to underserved communities. With 18 full-time teachers and strong staffing support, Brentwood maintains a student-teacher ratio of 15:1 and employs two school counselors to address the social-emotional needs of its students.
